description

The MARTA V Basic Jumper is a simple oversized sweater with a
V neck. You’ll have two length options for the body and for the sleeves of this sweater.

You will start with the back neck panel and pick up stitches for the upper back from the longer side of the panel. You will then work the shoulder yoke with increases as well as short rows for a better fit.

Once all the increases have been worked along the shoulder yoke, you will first finish the back and each front individually to the armhole length, with additional increases for the V neck. You will then join them to finish the jumper in the round.

The stitches for the sleeves are picked up around the armhole and the sleeves are then knit in the round.

You can finish the sleeve and body with a classic Stocking St bind-off or use the I-cord technique.
