DESCRIPTION
The Big KIM cardigan with wide batwing sleeves is worked seamlessly top down in one piece. Instead of the provisional cast on method for shoulders and sleeves at the lighter summer version, you work a regular loop cast on for extra stability at the sleeves. The shoulders/sleeves are shaped by short rows and the lower sleeve seams are closed with the Kitchener stitch, so that they are nearly invisible. The cardigan has a V-neck shaping and all edges are designed with a brioche finishing.
Due to decreases on both sides of the body’s bottom, the cardigan has lovely curves under the armhole openings and gets slimmer downwards.
