DESCRIPTION
The MARTA Jumper is a short, boxy pullover that is knit top down in one piece.
The stitches for the neck are cast on with a crochet needle to ensure a stable and aesthetically pleasing neckline. The yoke and the increases start out in rows (to account for the short row shaping along the neck). Later, the increases are worked in the round.
Once the yoke is finished, front and back are worked separately up to the armholes where they are joined again to finish the rest of the pullover in the round.
The stitches for the sleeves are picked up around the armhole and the sleeves are then knit in the round.
This very detailed 12-page pattern includes a technical drawing for the short rows and detailed schematics with all necessary measurements as well as a blank one for you to use for notes and calculations.
Fit 1 2 3 – loose
Difficulty 1 2 3 – easy (some added difficulty because of the short row shaping when working the shoulder increases)
