COMPOSITION
This oversize cardigan with raglan increases is knit top down. The lower body part is shaped slimmer towards the hip, while both front pieces are getting wider towards the bottom edge. The wide sleeves are designed to get slimmer towards the ribbed hem, are knit back and forth and will be sewn together with the mattress stitch at the end. If you prefer knitting the sleeves in the round, it is perfectly possible, but this instruction does not hold any further information regarding knitting in the round.
All ribbed hems, as well as the front band, are knit as slip stitch ribs.
